We also collect information automatically as you navigate our site, including usage data, device type, pages visited, links clicked, and location derived from your IP address.

  • Provide medspa services and manage your appointments

  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service-related updates via SMS or email

  • Send marketing and promotional SMS messages to clients who have separately and explicitly opted in

  • Process payments and maintain billing records

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with trusted service providers who perform services on our behalf:

  • Twilio, Inc. — for SMS/text message delivery

  • Workee (Jeeny AI) — for booking and marketing automation

  • Zenoti — for booking and appointment management

  • Payment processors (including CareCredit, Cherry Pay, major credit card processors)

 

SMS Opt-In Data: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is shared solely with Twilio, Inc. to facilitate delivery of messages you have consented to receive. JLoo Beauty Experts will not sell, rent, or share collected mobile numbers. Twilio is contractually prohibited from using this data for any independent marketing purpose.

We may also disclose personal information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our clients and staff.

 

4. SMS / Text Message Communications

 

JLoo Beauty Experts uses SMS text messaging to communicate with clients who have provided explicit consent. We operate a two-checkbox opt-in system that separates informational and marketing messages.

 

Types of Messages

 

Informational & Service-Related Messages (Required Consent) — with your consent via a required checkbox, we send:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

  • Booking updates and schedule changes

  • Post-visit follow-ups and service updates

  • Account and membership updates

 

Marketing & Promotional Messages (Optional Consent) — only if you separately and explicitly opt in via an optional unchecked checkbox, we may send:

  • Seasonal deals and special offers

  • Membership and loyalty promotions

  • New service and product announcements

 

Consent to marketing messages is optional and never a condition of receiving services or booking an appointment.

 

How to Opt In

  • Online booking: two separate checkboxes during the booking process — informational (required) and marketing (optional, unchecked by default)

  • Website contact form or in-person consent form

  • Third-party reservation systems (Zenoti)

 

How to Opt Out

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message — you will receive one confirmation and no further messages within 24 hours

  • Reply HELP for assistance — you will receive our phone number, email, and website

Message Frequency & Rates

 

Messages are recurring and message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and preferences. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages. Not all carriers are supported.

 

5. Data Retention

 

We retain your personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@jloobeautyexperts.com. These terms remain in effect after your account is disabled.

6. Security

 

We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or modification. Access to personal information is limited to staff with a legitimate business need. No data transmission is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards.

 

7. Your Rights

 

You have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent to SMS communications at any time by replying STOP or emailing us

Part 2: Terms of Use & Spa Policies

 

These Terms of Use and Spa Policies govern your use of JLoo Beauty Experts’ website and services. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to these terms.

 

1. SMS Messaging Terms

 

By opting in to receive SMS messages from JLoo Beauty Experts, you agree to:

  • Authorize JLoo Beauty Experts to send text messages using an automated system

  • Informational messages require consent via a required checkbox at booking

  • Marketing messages require separate, optional consent via an unchecked checkbox

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase

  • Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies

4. Customer Satisfaction

 

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with any service received, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment.

 

5. Gratuity

 

A minimum of 15% gratuity is appreciated for satisfied service. We automatically add 18% gratuity to all medspa services for groups of 3 or more.

 

6. Late Arrival

 

If you are late, your treatment will end on time so the next appointment may begin as scheduled. Services will be charged in full.

 

7. Right to Refuse Service

 

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to the medspa atmosphere.

 

8. Payment & Deposits

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cherry Pay, and CareCredit. A credit card is required to hold all appointments.

 

9. Appointment Policy

 

We recommend booking a few weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time. A credit card is required to reserve your appointment.

 

10. Consultations Policy

 

We provide free consultations and in-depth skin analysis with one of our expert providers. Consultations include education about your unique skin type, a comprehensive discussion of all available options, and a clear plan of action based on your individual goals.

 

11. Cancellation Policy

 

For non-group appointments, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. You will be charged $100 for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows.

For group appointments, a 72-hour cancellation policy applies; the credit card on file will be charged $200 for cancellations less than 72 hours in advance.

Arriving more than 10 minutes late may require rescheduling to avoid disrupting other clients’ appointments.

 

12. Pricing & Prepayments

 

Pricing for facials, cosmetic injectable services, and products is subject to change at any time. Once prepaid, you have up to 1 year to redeem purchased services. If there are payment issues (chargebacks, fraud) with a client’s card, we reserve the right to require cash payment for future services.

 

13. Returns & Refunds

  • Skincare products may be returned in original, unopened packaging within 30 days of purchase

  • We do not accept returns on opened or used products, gift cards, or exchanges

  • Prepayments are refundable within 10 days of purchase

  • Services received cannot be refunded

  • Training course payments are non-refundable

 

14. Child Policy

 

To ensure the safety of children and the enjoyment of all clients, we ask that parents make other arrangements for children while receiving services. Clients under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

15. Pet Policy

 

For the health and safety of our clients, no outside pets are permitted. Only working service animals are allowed.

 

16. Gift Cards

 

Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash and may not be used for gratuities.

17. Food & Beverages

 

No outside food or alcoholic beverages may be brought to the medspa. Water, coffee, and tea are provided before and after your service.

 

18. Accessibility

 

A handicap-accessible ramp and lower-level service rooms are available. JLoo Beauty Experts is accessible via ground floor elevator and can accommodate wheelchairs. Handicap-accessible restrooms are available.

Please inform us at booking if you require accessibility accommodations. Staff are not permitted to lift people onto treatment chairs; if such assistance is required, please bring a personal care attendant.

 

19. Indemnification

 

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless JLoo Beauty Experts, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use our services; (b) your provision or receipt of a treatment; (c) your travel in connection with a treatment; (d) your interaction with any other user; (e) any claim that you violated any provision of this Agreement; (f) any violation of this Agreement by you or any other person using your account; (g) any harm to person or property resulting from your acts or omissions; (h) the Company’s use, disclosure, or preservation of user content; or (i) your violation of any rights of another, including intellectual property rights.

 

20. Intellectual Property

 

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of JLoo Beauty Experts and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use our content without written permission.

 

21. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

 

22. Changes to Terms

 

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
