JLoo Beauty Experts — Frequently Asked Questions
PRF Microneedling
What is PRF Microneedling?
PRF Microneedling combines SkinPen® technology with Platelet-Rich Fibrin drawn from your own blood to stimulate collagen and cellular renewal. It improves texture, tone, and firmness while minimizing scars, pores, and fine lines.

How many sessions will I need?
Most clients see visible improvement after one session, with optimal results after 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance every 6–12 months helps sustain collagen production.
Is there downtime?
Redness similar to a mild sunburn usually subsides within 24 hours. You can return to normal activities the next day but should avoid makeup, heat, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
Is PRF Microneedling safe for all skin types?
Yes, our proprietary protocol is gentle and effective for all skin tones and concerns, including acne scars, dull skin and pigmentation.
PRF EzGel (Bio-Filler)
What is PRF EzGel?
PRF EzGel is a 100 % natural bio-filler made from your own platelets. When heated and processed, PRF forms a soft gel that restores volume and rejuvenates delicate areas like the under-eyes, lips, and nasolabial folds.

How long do results last?
After 3–4 sessions, most clients enjoy results that last 6–12 months. The longevity depends on lifestyle and individual metabolism.
Does the treatment hurt?
Discomfort is minimal. Local injectible and topical lidocaine is applied, and most clients describe only mild pressure without any pain. Bruising or swelling may occur for 3–7 days after injection is normal.
Is PRF EzGel a good alternative to dermal fillers?
Yes, it’s ideal for clients who prefer a fully natural option with gradual, collagen-stimulating improvement rather than synthetic HA fillers.
Botox & Injectables
What areas can be treated with Botox?
Common areas include forehead lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, lip lines, jaw slimming (masseter), and neck bands. Botox can also create a subtle brow lift, relaxed frown lines, smoothen foreheads and refined jawline.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Results appear in 3–14 days and last 3–4 months on average. Regular maintenance helps train facial muscles for longer-lasting smoothness.

Is there downtime?
Downtime is minimal, just avoid exercise, rubbing the area, or lying down for 4-5 hours after treatment. And avoid rubbing injection sites for 24 hours after injections.

What if I don’t see results right away?
Muscle activity and response vary; touch-ups are sometimes needed after 2–4 weeks for new clients or stronger muscles. We offer complimentary assessments to ensure optimal outcomes.
Medical Weight Loss (Semaglutide & Tirzepatide)
How do these medications work?
They mimic natural GLP-1 hormones that regulate appetite, slow digestion, and stabilize blood sugar, leading to steady, healthy weight loss.

What results can I expect?
Our clients typically lose 8–20 lbs within the first 6 weeks. Progress depends on consistency, nutrition, and exercise habits.

Is the program medically supervised?
Yes, each client receives a telemedicine or in-clinic consultation with a licensed NYS board-certified medical provider (physician or nurse practitioners). All medications are sourced from FDA-approved U.S. pharmacies.

Who may not qualify?
Clients with a history of thyroid cancer, active cancer treatment, or certain liver conditions may not be eligible. Screening ensures complete safety before starting.

What’s included in my starter kit?
You’ll receive your prescribed multi-used vial(s), bag of new syringes, alcohol swabs, and full instructions for at-home administration, along with ongoing support.
Chemical Peels & Skin Resurfacing
What is the JLoo Signature Peel?
A moderate-depth treatment blending Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Vitamin A Accelerator to resurface, brighten, and refine skin with minimal downtime.

Is visible peeling normal?
Not always, some clients experience light flaking, while others peel minimally. The formula works beneath the surface to improve tone, texture, and radiance.

How often should I get a peel?
Every 4–6 weeks for ongoing correction, depending on skin condiitons. Usually acne-skin type may need about 3-6 sessions of peels (4-6weeks apart) to clear up the skin. Or 3 times or more per year for maintenance depending on skin type and concerns.

Are peels safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, our proprietary blends are designed for all skin types, including those prone to redness or reactivity.
Facials & Skin Care
What’s included in a Deluxe Facial?
Double cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, mask, massage, and two advanced enhancements such as LED therapy, RF toning, dermaplaning, or oxygen infusion.

What is a Buccal Facial Massage?
A holistic sculpting technique that tones and lifts facial muscles from inside and outside the mouth, enhancing lymphatic drainage and reducing jaw tension.
How often should I get a facial?
